  • I don’t continue to work if last month’s retainer is not paid
  • I never publish prices on my website
  • I don’t do workshops for free
  • I never work without a contract
  • I add $2,500 to my speaking fee if I have to get on a plane
  • I won’t sign a client, no matter how lucrative, if my gut says “no”
  • I will not travel into Manhattan without an up front travel fee
  • I never reduce the fee without reducing the value provided
  • I will attend one educational event per month
  • When an invoice is not paid by day 30 I get on the phone to the client
  • I require a two hour minimum on any job more than an hour away
  • I will not reduce my charges because client wants to pay me in cash
  • I will not work at a client site on a regular basis
