The Nature Of The Beast

(Listen to this post, here.) I won’t lie to you – horses kind of scare me. They are just so immense. Of course, there are other large animals out there too. But you don’t often find yourself standing next to them. Or, as happened to me recently, climbing onto their backs and riding them (whose idea was this?). We were out in Western Colorado visiting my wife’s college friend Edie. Edie and her husband, Gary, live up in the hills […] Click to read more…

Remarkable You

(Listen to this post, here.) My wife, Linda, is tired of hearing me tell this story. Ten years ago, in our next house, he/she stopped coming to the door and, instead, left the mail in a box at the end of the driveway. Today, the mail stops […] Click to read more…

Blurred Lines

(Listen to this post, here.) You’ll no doubt be excited to learn that my wife Linda and I successfully moved to a new house last weekend. Our old house was terrific (we’d been there 11 years) but with our youngest son, Jonathan, off to college this fall, we decided it was a good time to downsize. And downsize we did. We moved from a four bedroom, two-story house, to a two bedroom home on just one floor (sorry, too much […] Click to read more…
